For those who are new to our kids or following our blog I will attempt to explain them best I can. Caitlyn and Natalie more commonly called the Twins cause well that's what they are. They are 7 now, and finishing up first grade. They like to spend their time either playing video games like big fish games, (can you believe that they like some of the same games I do) or watching Spongebob, icarly, Fan Boy and Chum Chum. When they aren't doing that they are playing outside in the backyard.
Alexis who's four and Tristan who's 1 like to play various games like Mr. Potato Head or in Alexis's case various games on the computer Playhouse Disney or Starfall. Tristan likes watching Wonderpets, and playing his xylophone. He enjoys running around the house and interacting with his Grandmother's dogs.
Our kids are different then most as the twins are autistic and Tristan has some minor delays they hope will improve before he gets too old. Alexis is being tested for delays she has a horrible temper at times.
How we keep up with our kids is that times we have to look at things through their eyes. They keep us young in that respect. They can try your patience and at some times they can be very pleasant and warm to deal with.
Hope that sheds some insight into them.
My nephew is autistic and has seizures, my niece has seizures and my son has seizures. The only one without them is my daughter, and she is showing the same symptoms as my son did at her age. Your kids are beautiful.

ReplyDeleteIt's harder some days than others. We just band together and do what we can.
ReplyDeleteI think that is what all special needs parents do they have good days and bad days and the days that aren't so good we as parents have to band together to make the day better for them somehow.
